Samples, measuring and fitting brought to you
Stratford Blinds supplies and fits made-to-measure blinds across Moreton-in-Marsh and the North Cotswolds. Nick visits your property with relevant samples, measures the openings and advises on the products that suit the room. We do not claim to have a Moreton-in-Marsh shop or office; this is a choose-at-home service operated from Stratford-upon-Avon.
Viewing samples at home is especially useful when neighbouring buildings, trees and window direction change the light throughout the day. It also makes it easier to coordinate fabrics with the actual interior rather than a showroom display.
Different windows need different solutions
Moreton-in-Marsh includes street-facing period properties, Cotswold cottages, apartments, modern developments and holiday accommodation. A front room near a busy pavement may prioritise adjustable daytime privacy; a bedroom may need opaque fabric and careful edge coverage; a kitchen or glazed door may need something wipe-clean and compact.
We therefore recommend blinds room by room. One fabric or mechanism is rarely the best answer for every window in the property.
Blinds available in Moreton-in-Marsh
Roller blinds
Simple lines and a wide choice of screen, dim-out, blackout and moisture-resistant fabrics.
Roman blinds
A softer, furnished appearance for living areas and bedrooms, with suitable lining options discussed during the visit.
Venetian blinds
Adjustable slats for controlling daylight and views, available in practical finishes for different rooms.
Vertical blinds
Flexible coverage for wide windows and many patio-door arrangements, with individual vanes that can be tilted.
Perfect Fit blinds
A neat framed system for many compatible uPVC windows and glazed doors, subject to a suitability check.
Motorised blinds
Convenient control for large, high or frequently adjusted blinds. Product and power options depend on the window.
Privacy for High Street and overlooked rooms
Many “privacy blind” searches are really asking whether a blind can preserve the outside view while preventing people from seeing in. Screen fabrics can create useful daytime screening when the exterior is brighter than the room. They cannot guarantee the same effect after dark, when interior lights make the room brighter.
Depending on the room, better evening choices may include an opaque roller blind, carefully angled Venetian slats, shutters or two layered window treatments. Read our straightforward guide to privacy blinds before deciding.

Is the visit free?
Yes, the initial home consultation and measuring visit is free and without obligation within our service area.
Is professional fitting included?

Can a blackout blind make a bedroom pitch black?
Blackout fabric stops light passing through the material, but light can remain around the sides of a standard blind. We will explain realistic performance and specialist options where stronger room darkening is important.
