What is a Venetian blind?
A Venetian blind is a set of horizontal or vertical narrow slats made of wood, plastic, fabric, or metal (usually aluminium) that are held together by cords.
When rotated, these units are raised and lowered using string or ladder cords that run through the slats to keep them apart at equal intervals as they move together in synchrony.
Generally, the slats can be rotated up to 180 degrees.
They may be adjusted manually or remotely controlled, and they come in a variety of materials, styles, and colours. One of the most significant advantages of Venetian blinds is their capacity to regulate the amount of natural light that enters a room via an aperture or door.
